Assam JLEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Aspirants seeking admission into the 2nd year of B.E/B. Tech programs offered under the lateral entry scheme at colleges in the state of Assam will have to meet the minimum eligibility requirements as stated below –
Candidates should be a permanent residence of Assam.
The candidates should possess a recognized diploma of a minimum of 3 years duration from Polytechnic Institutions of Assam under the State Council of Technical Education.
They should secure a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.
The candidates appearing their final year exams are also eligible to appear for the JLEE exam. The only condition is that they have to produce the original mark sheets and certificates at the time of admission.
Assam JLEE 2022 Application Form
Once the application form is issued, all candidates interested in lateral admissions to the BE/B.Tech program must complete the application form in the format specified. In addition, the candidate must meet the eligibility requirements. The form will be canceled if the candidate does not match the eligibility requirements.
The candidates will have to first start by first filling up the details that have been asked for. These include name, father’s name, mother’s name, and also the date of birth.
It is then necessary for the candidate to upload the documents and once the documents are filed, the candidate will have to upload the photo and the signature in the format that has been prescribed.

Filling out the application form – Candidates will have to begin by filling out the details asked in the form such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, etc.

Payment of application fee – Once all the details are entered correctly and the documents are uploaded in a prescribed format, candidates will have to proceed towards the payment. The application fee of Rs. 1000 will have to be paid through online mode (debit cards/credit cards/ net banking) or offline mode (state bank collect). Candidates who will pay through offline mode will have to generate a cash deposit by selecting the state bank of India option and will have to make a payment at any state bank of India branch.
Printout of the confirmation page – Finally, after completing all the above-mentioned steps, candidates should take a print of the confirmation page for future references.

Assam JLEE 2022 Cutoff marks
The admission process will be done on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the Assam JLEE 2022. The authorities will release the cutoff of Assam JLEE 2022 which will be the minimum marks required by the candidates to get admission. The cutoff of each branch or institute will be different. Assam JLEE 2022 Counselling and Seat Allotment
The process of counseling and seat allotment of Assam JLEE 2022 will have two rounds which will be conducted in offline mode and candidates will have to reach the counseling venue on the scheduled date and time. Assam JLEE counseling 2022 will begin tentatively in the last week of July. After each round of counseling, the merit list will be released on the basis of different factors and the seats in the institutes will be allotted to candidates. The process of counseling and seat allotment is explained below.
Online registration – All the eligible candidates will have to register to participate in the counseling process and will also have to pay a counseling fee of Rs. 600.
Choice filling – Candidates will also have to select the preferred course and branch. Candidates should carefully do this step as the merit list will largely be dependent on the choices filled.
Certificate verification – Candidates will have to carry all the relevant documents to the allotted center to get them verified. Candidates should reach the venue for verification on the scheduled date and time.
Seat allotment – Finally, authorities will allow the seat to the candidates on the basis of choices filled by them. After the seats are allotted, candidates will have to pay their admission fee at the allotted institute.
